Audience Survey 2024 (+ some personal news)
A 60-second survey, work news, and a new podcast project.
Hi,
It's Chipo here.
I've created a very short survey for you my audience to complete.
It's a quick and easy one.
And while it doesn't include the full breadth of questions I could've asked, it'll still be a helpful start for me.
Oh, and it'll take about 60 seconds to complete!
Thank you! 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾

Capital Markets Africa - Audience Survey 2024
In other news, some of you may have seen that I returned to full-time* work last month. This means I’ll be taking a major step back from Capital Markets Africa in 2025. However, I’m actively working on plans to relaunch it sometime next year under a new name. Your survey feedback will be very helpful in this regard.

New project
In addition, be on the look out for a new podcast that I’ll be launching in Q1 2025 called African Allocator. This is a separate project to Capital Markets Africa.
The African Allocator podcast will involve me interviewing various players from across the African investment space.
The aim?
To provide listeners with a broad view of the African investment landscape, and to gain better insight and understanding into how these allocators think through capital and asset allocation decisions across various risk factors. Professional investors will be the primary audience.
My guests will include prominent and emerging names from the worlds of African private capital (private equity, private debt, venture capital), African real assets (infrastructure, energy, real estate), and of course African public equities too. They will represent the buy-side, the sell-side and business operators too.
Confirmed guests include:
the managing partner of an emerging VC firm that invests in growth-stage women-owned and/or led businesses
the managing partner of an established Nigerian private equity firm
the CEO of a listed South African industrial small cap
an investment strategist working for a large African asset manager
the CEO of a Zambian real estate development company
the chief investment officer of a listed mining holding company
This podcast will be available on all the major streaming platforms. Look out for further communication about this from me in the new year.
Thank you for your support.
Happy Christmas and best wishes for 2025!
Chipo
